The Open Brain Institute (OBI) was founded by Prof Henry Markram and Dr Kamila Markram in January 2025.

A visionary leader and pioneer in simulation neuroscience, Henry has led revolutionary efforts to model the brain and decode its complexities through cutting-edge technology. He is the president of the Board of the Open Brain Institute.
